The presence of the spring in the operating mechanism of the check valve represents a guarantee in terms of safety. The pressure of the fluid, overcoming the weight of the shutter and the force of the spring, moves the shutter and allows the fluid to flow in the direction required by the system. In the event of counterflow, even at low pressures, the shutter is instead accompanied by the spring in its return movement and the valve closes perfectly, ensuring complete protection from backflow.
Furthermore, the presence of the spring makes the valve suitable for both vertical and horizontal installations.
