The applications of diaphragm tanks are different and for this reason they represent an important ally for the functioning of a hydraulic system. Diaphragm tanks guarantee a reserve of water under pressure and therefore, in an autoclave system, they overcome the problem of repeated stops and starts of the electric pumps.
In a heating circuit, the membrane tanks act as an expansion vessel by compensating for the pressure variation due to the temperature change. This avoids sudden changes in pressure and dangerous water hammers that could damage the system.
Membrane tanks made of stainless steel are also suitable for calcareous and corrosive liquids, thanks to the characteristic resistance of the material. The EPDM membrane, on the other hand, ensures that it can also be used for drinking water.
