Air feeders guarantee the maintenance of the air cushion in the pressure tank.

Installation
Feeder must be installed in vertical position. It is important to install a ball valve between the superior part of the feeder and the pressure tank and another one between the inferior part of the feeder and the suction of the pump. The check valve of the system must be installed upstream of the connection of the feeder with the aspiration of the pump. The check valve must not be installed between the pump and the pressure tank.

Operation
The correct operation of the feeder involves an aspiration of air of about 30 seconds to every starting of the pump. This optimal condition is obtained regulating the ball valve situated on the suction of the pump. If in a system the pump is fed by a pressurized pipeline, it is necessary that the pressure in the pressure tank is greater of about 1,5 times of the pump pressure so that the feeder works regularly.
