AQUASTRONG SMART45 (TWIN) 1D&1A is the twin-operation version of the SMART45 smart pump. Two pumps connected by a data cable work as a booster set, with one Duty pump and one Assistant pump.When a tap is opened, the Duty pump starts and keeps the pressure constant, thanks to its permanent magnet motor with inverter. If the Duty pump alone cannot reach the set pressure, even at full speed (difference greater than 2 m), the Assistant pump also starts at variable speed.When the taps are closed, the Assistant pump stops first, then the Duty pump.
The pumps can swap roles automatically, set from the control panel (parameter L1: every cycle or every 1–48 operating hours, default 8 h), so wear is spread evenly. If the data cable is disconnected, each pump runs in single mode. The set is suitable for villas, small apartment buildings, offices and light commercial use that need continuous service and higher flow than a single pump can provide.
